A strategic partnership that supports GESS’s ambition to become Singapore’s leading school for football excellence.
As part of this collaboration, GESS has appointed a dedicated on-site BVB Coordinator to lead our Football Programme, ensuring that all training reflects the club’s proven development philosophy. GESS Students also get access to the BVB eAcademy (an online skill-development platform) and opportunities for international football exchanges.
The youth development partnership is already bearing fruit: the first 'Wildcats' player has traveled to Dortmund for high-performance training with the U17 team, highlighting the potential and reach of this initiative.
Together with Borussia Dortmund, we inspire the next generation of footballers, equipping them with the skills, mindset, and resilience to succeed both on and off the pitch.
The execution of the football training is conducted in collaboration with Lion City Sailors. Their Football Academy has earned a TwoStar accreditation from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) under the AFC Elite Youth Scheme, making it one of a select group of academies in Southeast Asia to achieve this standard.
