Work experience and professional focus:

Ms. Voswinkel brings more than 20 years of experience in education and school leadership, most recently serving as Senior Principal (Oberstudiendirektorin) at the Robert-Schuman Vocational School in Essen. Throughout her career, she has successfully led school development initiatives, curriculum innovation, quality assurance programmes and digital transformation projects. In addition, she brings valuable experience from the private sector, connecting GESS to strong corporate networks and directly preparing our students for global career pathways.

Joram Hutchins

Head of European International (IB) School

Work experience and professional focus:

With almost twenty years of experience working as an educator in Singapore, Joram has been a member of the GESS faculty since 2009 and has held various positions before becoming the Academic Director in February 2022. He has overseen the school's successful reaccreditation with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IB) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). Joram works closely with highly skilled colleagues to ensure effective staff recruitment, timetable, educational technology, professional development, child safeguarding, library, sports, and arts are developed across the school. His focus lies in improving teaching and learning at GESS to achieve the school’s strategic plan and become one of the leading educational institutions in Singapore.
