The GESS Association is a private body whose main objectives include:
- to run, operate, maintain and enhance the School;
- to provide pupil’s with the suitable education methods and principles to prepare for final German and other international recognised exams;
- to familiarise pupils with local language and cultures.
It is a not-for-profit Society and a registered charity. The Association is registered in Singapore.
The Association is managed by a Board of Governors.
What is the role of the Board?
Governance is stewardship and oversight – not operational management which is entrusted to the Senior Leadership Team.

Ensure compliance, accountability and sound governance. Oversee risk, controls, regulatory obligations and clear governance boundaries.

Drive effective Board and
organisational performance. Provide strategic oversight,
financial stewardship and hold leadership to account for outcomes.
