High School - German Curriculum

Our high school is for students aged 15 to 18, leading to the internationally recognised German International High School Certificate (Deutsches Internationales Abitur). GESS offers all German school qualifications including Hauptschule and Realschule.

Regional final examinations as well as curricula based on German states enable a seamless transition to schools in Germany or other German schools abroad.

Our students benefit from a wide range of courses in languages, arts, humanities, mathematics and sciences, taught by expert educators. Support programs, competitions and a broad range of after-school activities help prepare our students for further studies or vocational training.

University and Career Counselling

Our professional University and Careers Counselling team advises and supports students throughout high school as they prepare for higher education and subsequent career pathways (i.e. careers information exchanges, support and guidance for university applications and interview practice).

100% Pass Rate

We are very proud of our excellent academic results well above the German average. Our 2023 cohort in the Abitur programme achieved a 100% pass rate and a remarkable 2.0 average result.

BeyondClassrooms

The exclusive BeyondClassrooms programme gives our students additional tutoring and mentoring as well as real-world experiences and internships in business, sustainability, science, engineering and more.

What our parents and students say about us

"The school and its community were such a huge part of my life and have truly shaped me into who I am today. I am also grateful to have had the opportunity to study in German, knowing that my German language skills would have otherwise deteriorated as I speak English to my friends and almost everybody else here in Singapore. The experiences I have had and the things I have learned, from Kindergarten all the way to Grade 12, will always remain a part of me. I am very grateful for the outstanding and dedicated teachers that have taught and shaped me."
