We can look forward to 11 public holidays in Singapore for 2026.
Hari Raya Puasa (21 March 2026) and Hari Raya Haji (27 May 2026) are provisional dates and are not confirmed yet.
There are three public holidays on Friday and three that fall on a Sunday (with Monday off in lieu) — giving you six long weekends to look forward to in 2026!
If you plan your annual leave strategically, you can easily extend these weekends into longer breaks. For example, by taking leave on Monday, 2 February 2026, after the Chinese New Year holidays (17–18 February), you could enjoy a five-day long weekend.
When a public holiday in Singapore falls on a Sunday, the following Monday is a day off. If it falls on a Saturday, some employers may also offer an additional day off in lieu.
