A Recognised German School Abroad with the Highest Educational Standards
The German European School Singapore (GESS) is an excellent German School Abroad (Deutsche Auslandsschule) recognised by the Federal Republic of Germany. We provide our students with a high-quality education and the opportunity to earn all German school leaving qualifications, from the First School Leaving Certificate (Erster Schulabschluss) and Intermediate School Leaving Certificate (Mittlerer Schulabschluss) to the Deutsches Internationales Abitur.
These qualifications are fully equivalent to their German counterparts, meaning that no recognition procedures are required when students return to Germany. This is supported by the rigorous quality assurance system of the Kultusministerkonferenz (KMK).
German Education in an International Environment
We are committed to combining the benefits of an international, multicultural environment with a holistic education and excellent academic preparation. This gives our students access to universities in Germany and around the world while preparing them for life and work in a globalised world.
Academic Excellence Reflected in Our Results
The quality of our education is also reflected in our results: For many years, our students have achieved above-average results in their final examinations, with a 100% pass rate.
