Annual General Meeting on 10/02/2006
1^st PTA meeting was held on 18/02/2006 to elect office bearers for 2006
Sports day was held on 23/03/2006, the President of PTA gave away the prizes for the event.
The Vice-President of PTA gave away the prizes for academic year 2 & 3 held on 25/05/2006 and 26/05/2006 respectively.
PTA organized 2 parental workshop for the year:
1. Seminar conducted by Landmark Education Corportation - Singapore Center on 22/04/2006
2. Talk conducted by the school counsellor on "Connecting with your Teenage Child" on 23/09/2006.
School Exchange Programme with Thailand - STEP programme was from 17/04/2006 to 23/04/2006. On behalf of PTA the President hosted a dinner for the Thai, GESS boys and also coaches involved with the STEP programme.
International Friendship Day was held on 07/04/2006. PTA contributed exhibits of artifacts & crafts from Malaysia which was show cased.
On 27/05/2006 at Raffles Hotel the President and 2 other members represented PTA at the GESSOSA's launching of their book "Pictorial History of GESS"
Racial Harmony Day was on 12/07/2006. PTA members organized the ethnic mini-food fair for RHD.
The President represented PTA for the school's National Day Observance Ceremony & Awards Presentation 2006
Teacher's Day Celebration was on 31/08/2006, One of the most active member of PTA was identified to represent the President for the Teacher's Day Lunch at Hilton Hotel. PTA also contributed towards the Door Gift for the occasion
PTA President will assist to organize and teach "Basic Malay Convrsation" lessons for teachers/students who are interested after their year end exams.
PTA together with SAC & GESSOSA will organize the school annual Graduation Night on 28 /11/2006 for all "O" Level students.
