Enrichment Programmes

Having enrichment programmes allow students to improve in the skills and knowledge and be exposed to more sports. It is also an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents as well as coaches to identify sports talents.

Everyone can enjoy a light and fun workout together.

Annual Cross Country
The Annual Cross Country event is held in Chinese Garden. Students enjoyed themselves at the new location as the scenery is nice, the route is manageable for all and the venue is accessible to MRT. The challenge for students is for them to complete their run at a shorter timing.

Sports Fiesta
A festive of fun and learning through sports. Students can participate in various sports and develop interest in.

Sports Education Program
The Sports Education Program (SEP) is a collaborative partnership between Singapore Sports Council (SSC) and the Ministry of Education (MOE). The SEP aids in the development of skills and sports knowledge of students, promotes team spirit, character building and active participation of sports in schools.

Past SEPs

  • Clay Shooting
    Selected Secondary 3 students attended a 4 hour introductory clay shooting clinic at the National Shooting Club. The students were exposed to handling a 12GA shotgun and techniques in shooting flying clay targets.
  • Bowling
    4 selected classes attended a 3 hour introductory bowling clinic in Safra @ Tampines in October 2007. The students learnt the fundamentals of bowling.
  • Dragon boating
    2 selected year 1 classes were chosen to attend a dragon boat introductory session at Seletar Reservoir. Qualified external instructors were engaged to teach the students the basics of rowing a dragon boat. The session reinforced the concept of teamwork and perseverance.
