In October 2000, we appealed to you on the web on the subject of raising
funds to fulfill a dream, that is, having a place we call our own.
The Alumni Room.
" The GESSOSA Room will be strategically located fronting
the school field and the scenic Tiong Bahru Park.
When completed, it will be the central venue for all Gessians
(current students included). You can book this space for your
Year gatherings, tea-parties, wine-&-dine evenings, multi-media
presentations, career talks, etc. as much as you can think of.
This space will also cater to the needs of our current students
as and when needed.
The GESSOSA Room has been the dream of many old students
for decades. Unless your donations are forth-coming, this dream
will always remain a dream. "

Objectives for The Alumni Room :
1. To promote amongst Gessians a sense of belonging and identity.
2. To promote interest amongst current students on the existence
of an active alumni.
3. To inculcate a strong Gessian Family Spirit made up not
only of the current school body, but a larger and extended
family consisting of a century of old students.

By the time of the completion of the campus, we indeed have fulfil
the dream...This year, we invited the current students to give a name
to the Alumni Room. Amongst many creative entries, Dragon's
Hub was chosen.
