English Language Achiever’s Programme

Sec 4 Express and Sec 5 Normal Academic pupils in Term 2

Your child/ward has been selected for the English Language Achiever’s Programme (AP) every Monday afternoon 2.50 pm to 3.45 pm in Term 2.

Your child/ward will be taking the O-Level examination in about 7 months’ time in October 2009. To ensure that your child/ward will be adequately prepared for the national examination, it is crucial that we begin preparations in unison as early as possible.

Through the AP, we hope to achieve the following:

  1. To reinforce the skills and content taught during lessons;
  2. To give coaching and practices to consolidate learning;
  3. To provide pupils with more opportunities to clarify their doubts and questions; and
  4. To increase the pupil’s confidence.

Therefore, we are seeking your understanding and partnership in helping your child/ward to achieve academic excellence. We would appreciate that you could partner us in the following:

  1. Encourage your child/ward to be punctual for school and attentive during lessons;
  2. Encourage your child/ward to attend the AP sessions faithfully;
  3. Schedule your child’s/ward’s tuition or other enrichment programme around the school curriculum, enrichment and AP sessions; and
  4. Cheer your child/ward for the efforts he/she puts in.

We hope that through our partnership, your child/ward will be motivated to strive for the best.

Onward!
