| Training Information: | Training session is tied with the schedule for Student Leadership Training on Wednesday 2:30 – 4pm. Pupils are deployed at morning and weekly assemblies and school functions. | |
Our Activities: Members in the AV Club actively render logistical and technical support during morning assembly, lower sec and upper sec assembly and various other events held within the school and outside. They are given opportunities to learn how to handle high-tech PA, sound, lighting and multimedia equipment. In 2008, members also took part in competitions, namely Singapore Young Photographer Award, Singapore My Home – Celebrating the Singapore Spirit Photography Competition, National Geographic Traveler Amateur Photography Contest and attended the Audio Visual Seminar held at Hwa Chong Institution. The Amber Cove - the AV Club’s official clubhouse - was painted and decorated during the Dec 2008 holidays and the Club’s tee-shirt was launched in July 2009. Maintenance of equipment is also carried out on a regular basis. |
