South Zone Table Tennis 2000

South Zone 'B' Division - Champion

In March 2000, Gan Eng Seng School 'B' division emerged champion in the National Schools South Zone Table Tennis Competition beating St Joseph's Institution 4 - 1. Though GESSIANS did not make it to the Final of the National Championship, they definitely put up a good fight.

Over the past few years, GESS table tennis teams have performed well in various inter-school competitions. This year, our 'B' Division boys clinched the third position in the South Zone Competition in April, and thus qualified for the Nationals Round. It was not an easy feat given the strong competition from many other schools. However, with dedicated teachers, an experienced coach and a new server machine, we look forward to better performance the years ahead.

ONWARD GESSIANS!
