  • Collected $28, 117 for Job Week in 1999. In 1999, Gan Eng Seng School were the South Area highest per capita earners for Jobweek.
  • 7 scouts attended Hong Kong Jamboree in 1999


2000

  • Sea Regatta Championship - Champion

  • Gan Eng Seng School received the Sustained Achievement Awards 2000 through two Uniformed Groups, NCC and Scouts
  • 14 scouts attended the Sarawak Jamboree in May-June 2000.
  • Gan Eng Seng School Dragon Scouts represented Outram District at World Scouts Day Rally in Feb 2000.

  • During the Job Week, our Scouts managed to raise about $29,000.

Sea Regatta Championship - Champion

Dragon Scouts participated in the 2nd Sea Regatta held every 4 years. The Scouts retain the Sea Regatta Championship for the second time.

Our school's Dragon Scouts were awarded the Frank Cooper Sands Award (GOLD) for the year of 2004 by Singapore Scout Association.

Sea Regatta Championship - Champion

Our Dragon Scouts took part in the 3rd Sea Regatta last Sunday, 27 June 2004 and we clinched the trophy once again. As this is the third time that we won the championship, we are proud to annouce too that we will be able to keep the challenge trophy.

National Pioneering Competition

Our Dragon Scouts clinched a Silver award at the 6th National Pioneering Competition held last week at Bishan Park II. We managed a to clinch a Silver award for both the Tower and Bridge Categories.

Frank Cooper Sands Award 2005

Our Dragon Scouts has been awarded the Gold for the Frank Cooper Sands Award 2005 by The Singapore Scout Association.


National Patrol Camp 2005

Our Dragon Scouts won the Gold award in this bi-annual competition.

Our Dragon Scouts has been awarded the Gold for the Frank Cooper Sands Award 2006 by The Singapore Scout Association.


District Bowling Competition

Our Dragon Scouts took part in the District Bowling Competion held on 15 July 2006 and achieve a Gold award in the team event.

The Gold award team comprises of : Tong Moo Teng, Brian Ng, Ho Kin Onn and Yeo Choon Lian.

In addition, Brian Ng achieves a Silver award in the Individual event.

Queenstown District Games Day

Our Dragon Scouts achieved a 2nd and 3rd placing in the Street Soccer competition held during the Queenstown District Games Day on 8 July 2006.
