Snack Attack

25th September 2004

Our team of three girls: Ho Shu Ting Wendy (2E), Tang Soke Teng Christina (2E) and Zhao Boshu (2E) competed against 9 other groups from various schools and came out as winner of The Most Innovative Food Product at the N6 Cluster Healthy Snack Food Design Competition 2004.

Their product is Power-Packed Pouches

Enterprising Youth Competition @ CDAC Redhill SSC Open house

6 of our students from Team 2C took part in the competition and won the 1st Prize.

The 6 students are: Diana Minli, Ang Xue Li, Joycelyn Tan Wan Qing, Tang Shi Hui, Jessica Lestari and Jessie Lam.

National Pushcart Challenge 2008

A team of 6 members took part in the National Pushcart Challenge 2008 organised by Republic Polytechnic in support of the Global Enterpreneur Week. Our team won the 'Most Patronized Pushcart' Award and won our club a trophy and $500 cash.

The 6 team members were Low Li Xian, Natalie Png, Koh Chuan Chye, Janice Yeo, Lim Hui Qin and Wong Jia Min.

The Great TP SIFE Ice Cream Challenge

A team of 10 members participated in The Great TP SIFE Ice Cream Challenge and won 1st prize in the competition.

The 10 team members are Low Li Xian, Angelin, Fransisca Prasetya, Xu Guo, Nicholas Gan, Natalie Png, Koh Chuan Chye, Janice Yeo, Ivy Pee and Chan Zi Qi.


The Citibank-Youth for Causes

Our club also submitted a proposal for the Citibank-Youth for Causes social entrepreneurship programme and was one of the 100 teams selected for this project. Our team is named Sweet Angels and our project is entitled 'Life is Sweet'. This social entrepeneurship project involves packing and selling sweets to the public in a bid to raise funds for our selected NPO – Yong En Care Centre.
