Nexus (MINDEF) and National Education Branch (MOE) are currently supporting a nation-wide literary competition titled," Your Singapore Through Their Eyes: Singapo(RE)presents".

This competition can serve as a platform to promote national identity among your students. It also proves that students can play an active part in promoting National Education – because it is organised by students, for students.

The starting date of this competition is 17th April 2009 and closing date for submission is 30th June 2009.

Students can send in literary pieces of any text type adhering to the topic of “Singapo(RE)presents”. Entries should be submitted in both hard and soft copy.

Participants can look forward to having their winning entries published in a book anthology.

Application forms and other details can be found on our website (www.ystte09.com). Please feel free to direct any enquiries to our email (ystte09@gmail.com).

You may return the completed form to Mr. Abraham Joseph by 29th June 2009.
